We have a choice of how we respond to another persons behaviour.
We all have different standards of how we expect to be spoken to.
What is ok for one, might not be ok for another.
It is your responsibility to show someone where your boundary line is. It is your responsibility to educate people how you wish to be spoken to.
We can’t expect people to just ‘know’ where our boundary line is - as it's different for everyone.
This boundary setting doesn’t need to be aggressive or stem from ego.
This boundary setting stems from your true self and acknowledgment of your worth.
It is important to learn to speak your truth.
