Going through a separation/divorce is such a transition and life-changing in so many aspects. It can be similar to the grieving process when losing someone to death (Denial, Anger, Depression, Bargaining, Acceptance). And that applies to all marriages—not just couples that have been married for several years and have children together. Even if it’s amicable, there’s still a grieving process you go through, sooner or later. Because of that I want to share why it’s so important to lean on your resources (legal, psychological, spiritual, etc.) to help support you through the process, so you can become the best version of yourself and have the life you (and your children) deserve.
