It's the 90s but we're in the 50s! Or is it the 80s? It's Brazil! Or is it Argentina? It's the Kiss of the Spider Woman, an early 90s queer revolutionary musical based off a movie based off a novel and that currently has a movie adaptation that for some reason is being released the same month as Wicked For Good. Molina is a queer person imprisoned for being queer. Valentin has just been thrown into the same cell. The two of them must learn to survive each other and the tortures in store for them.
CW: This episode does deal with gender, sexuality, the expression thereof and how that's been expressed and recognized over the years as well as violence caused by that.
