2. How did Jacob Misiorowski eclipse his five-inning, no-hit debut? He pitched six perfect innings on Friday night before allowing a hit and then his first run. Unbelievable.
a. Not to be out done, Clarke Schmidt pitched seven no-hit innings on Saturday afternoon against the Orioles.
3. Chris Sale hits the IL with a fractured bone in his ribcage. I didn’t think last year was their year. Maybe this year is not. Who do they turn to for his starts?
4. Jack Burger hits the IL with a left oblique strain.
a. It sounds like Justin Foscue will get the call. Any interest?
5. Adley Rutschman hits the IL and Tim’s dream of a Sam Basallo call up is still on hold. I’m disappointed too.
