The Around the NFL preview closes on the AFC with a preview of the Broncos and Chiefs. It starts in Denver; a team very optimistic heading into the new season. After a playoff berth and Nix showing upside, what can the offense be for the Broncos? Erik and Matt take a look at areas Nix could improve, if they have enough firepower at wide receiver, and how will the running game benefit the offense. When they swap over to the defense, it's nothing but praise. Denver's a legit threat with that defense alone.
It's then off to the Chiefs Kingdom to analyze Mahomes and company. While they too have a great defense, Matt and Erik look into the wide receivers and why Andy still hasn't learned. Mahomes is amazing but you have to feel for him. Do the ITERZ crew think KC has enough play makers to get back to the Superbowl?
