What a wonderful opportunity we have here today, speaking with Anne Schubert, who developed the Mind/Body and has been exploring Bowen for over 38 years.
Anne shares with us her history of how she went from school teaching to Bowen and the development of the Mind/Body approach she has been using now for many years.
We discuss the value of letting the inherent wisdom of the body guide the process and how that incorporates the mind, body, emotions, and spiritual aspects of our nature. Anne shares from her experience why the less is best method works well for her and how she can sometimes leave a 30 minute break after a procedure to really allow the body to process what comes up. Anne speaks of how the original issues that cause dysfunction can often go right back to birth and very early childhood.
This is a beautiful interview with one of the world's most experienced practitioners and well worth your time to listen to.
