Author Catherine Hernandez published her novel “Scarborough” in 2017. Four years later, that book is now a feature film screening at the Toronto International Film Festival. The harrowing story of three economically deprived families is an unfiltered look into a rarely highlighted reality in Canada. There will be a final screening for the film (in-person) on September 18th at TIFF 2021.
