Last year I attended African Fashion Week Toronto (AFWT) for the first time. I was impressed – unique fashion, beautiful Black female models; quite the experience. Eugenie Ajdoa, a young designer upstart, won the AFWT student award that year. This is my conversation with her. AFWT 2019 runs from August 22-25.
