I attended an event on Friday, February 28, called “Girl Connected”. It was designed to pair Toronto based young women interested in the entertainment industry with American executives in a mentorship capacity. The event creator is, Lola Plaku, a Canadian-bred individual who alternates between Toronto and New York City.
