Deportation is no joking matter. Mexican-American activist Alejandra Pablos is currently engaged in a fierce battle to keep from being torn from her home in America and returned to her birth country of Mexico. Filmmaker Maya Cueva’s short “Ale Libre” tells this story. The film is screening at the 2021 Hot Docs Film Festival beginning on April 29th.
