1968 was a socially turbulent time in America. Yoruba Richen’s latest documentary “The Sit-In: Harry Belafonte hosts the Tonight Show” perfectly frames that year around Harry Belafonte’s one week stint as guest host of Johnny Carson’s wildly popular Tonight Show.
The film will have its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 19th at 11am.
