17's Jenny Huh reports. - Firefighters are making signifcant progress in the battle to contain the *post fire* burning in l-a and ventura counties. The fire started saturday next to the 5 freeway near gorman and burned dozens of cars at an auto repair business.
The fire has scorched more than 15-thousand-600 acres.
But, this morning the fire is 39-percent contained.
L-a county firefighters say their main challenges are the dry conditions... Low humidity... And the high winds... Which can send embers flying more than a mile away.
Some homes remain threatened.
