From a young age, LaRose has written poetry but didn't dare to share it. It wasn't until she started Trifecta Comedy that she began writing for other people to see. Her sketches have been produced for live and digital media. They have also been featured by Funny or Die and SketchFest. LaRose's dramatic scripts have been recognized by the Austin Film Festival, Chicago Screenplays, Screencraft, and Stage 32. Currently, LaRose's first play is being produced and will run this fall.
