Episode 16 - Applefest 2019

This week we’re all about the apples here at @SouthTippArtsCentre!
Applefest opened on Thursday 26th September with an exhibition β€œIf walls could speak” (which runs until October 6th) curated by Theresia Guschlbauer and Helena Tobin, and a spoken word event showcasing much local talent, curated by Eileen Acheson, and the house was full!

Eileen spoke to me about her involvement with the Applefest, and the Poetry Trail that will run throughout the festival this year.
I also take a look at the many other events happening for Applefest this year and don’t forget to visit www.clonmelapplefest.ie for full details on any of the events mentioned in this episode and www.southtippartscentre.ie to keep up to date with what’s on at the Arts Centre.

If you’d like to get in touch or be featured, please contact southtippartspodcast@gmail.com, and I’d be delighted to hear from you. As always, your feedback is so much appreciated :)
