Jana Jansson is a Drug and Alcohol prevention, recovery and education professional. Jana’s commitment to youth and the issues they face is evidenced in her conviction and passion for educating today’s youth and community. She is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
She is a graduate of Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Addiction and Recovery. Jana is a Certified Life Coach (CLC) and Associate Prevention Specialist (APS).
In her career, she has served as:
• Current Program Director for The Freestyle Foundation, Coalition for McKinney, Drug Free Youth
• Executive Director/President, Engage Collin County where she established the coalition as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (formerly SUPCCC) in 2018
• Co-founder of You Abound
• A Coalition Coordinator - Garland, Sachse and Rowlett with Drug Prevention Resources
• A School Liaison - building relationships between local school districts and hospitals
• A Speaker – Various events and classes, including the NAACP, Serenity Sobriety High School, Bedroom, Backpacks and Beyond McKinney, McKinney ISD, Anna ISD and Frisco ISD
Jana resides in McKinney with her 3 children Halie, Noah and Nathan.
