J. Traveler Pelton was born in West Virginia in the last century. She is the Nation’s Mother for her tribe, the Munsee Delaware: she is wife to Dan for 44 years, mother of six adults, a grandmother of 8, a Clinically Licensed Independent Social worker, an adjunct professor of social work at her local university and an incessant reader. She is a cancer survivor. She avidly studies science and technology, fascinated by the inventiveness of people. She is quick to draw parallels in different fields and weave stories around them. Traveler is a fabric artist and her most enjoyable time is spent spinning yarn while spinning yarns for the grandkids…
