Happy 4th of July!
If we want to live up to the American creed of "One nation under God with liberty and justice for all, " we must learn about American history.
Why do we see the unrest we are witnessing in our country today?
If we do not know our American history, we are part of the problem. We, whether we like it or not, are adding to the unrest. It is easy to judge the anger and frustration of suppressed groups of people, but until we have made an effort to understand the ROOTS of this unrest, we are complicit. Let's stop judging with the eyes of ignorance and learn to see with an educated mind and an open heart.
