Doctor Sammy Barbera, one of the top cardiologists in the world, is our guest on this week’s Alumni Show. Barbera’s family has been involved in harness racing since the mid 70's. Sammy’s dad (Joe) and uncle (Vinny) have owned in partnerships some of the sports top horses including this year's Fast as the Wind, Abuckabet Hanover & Rockyroad Hanover. His cousin is Dr. J (Bridgette Jablonsky) of Hanover Shoe Farms. On this broadcast, Sammy tells the story of how he examined one of Tony Alagna's horses and worked with the New Bolton Center regarding the horse's treatment.
