Sermon by Ryan Casey. Part 6 of the "Christian Friendship" series

SERIES DESCRIPTION

If there were a single, central dogma in America today, it would probably be “Be yourself.” The problem is, we’re going after being ourselves in all the wrong ways— ways that obscure rather than reveal our true selves, ways that erode or compromise other people’s selves in our own self-pursuit.

This series sets out to develop a sense of Christian friendship rooted in a biblical and trinitarian understanding of personhood. Recovering of this central aspect of our image-bearing is critical to flourishing marriages, to dismantling racism, to battling isolation, to moving beyond partisan politics and to thriving in singleness.
