Dating in Indian culture, regardless of where you live (India or not) comes with some preset rules and expectations. Some are spoken, some are unspoken, but yet they get passed down from generation to generation.
The doc and I have both broken away from the traditional norms and dated whomever we wanted, Indian or not. Having families who disapprove of this, of course leads to an interesting, and passionate conversation!
Although we don't speak on behalf of all Indians, or all of our culture, our story should provoke some 'spicy' conversation.
