It feels like football season is right around the corner…because it is! The Eagles have gone through OTAs and now their minicamp. As fans, we've seen and read reports of players who we are expected to have productive seasons, inevitably helping this Eagles team generate a winning record and getting them back to the playoffs. Jumping on the show this week to discuss everything Eagles is John Barchard from the Go Birds Podcast and 94.1 WIP. It's a great interview you won't want to miss!

But first, we got into a ton of Sixers offseason talk. The options for Elton Brand at No. 33 and 34 overall in the NBA Draft. What are the odds that Elton Brand might trade Joel Embiid or Ben Simmons? How will Kevin Durant's injury affect the Sixers offseason? (2:50)

From there we asked the question and discussed; would we hate to see pitcher Madison Bumgarner come to the Phillies? (19:15)

This week on the Highbrow Segment, we discussed the revival and resurgence of the Phillies this season. How is Gabe Kapler doing during his second year as manager of the team? As we're in mid-June, have the trades that were made and free agents brought in made the difference we hoped? We gave our grades for both in terms of where our expectations were before the start of the season, and where they are now. (25:45)

Then on the Lowbrow Segment, we gave our favorite Philly sports quotes of all-time. (40:30)

What we're throwing down on the Table this week is an in-depth interview with John Barchard from the Go Birds Podcast about our beloved Philadelphia Eagles. Which of the many cornerbacks are standing out? Do any of the undrafted free agents have a chance to make this team for the 2019 season? What does the second-team depth look like on the offensive line, and is it a concern if injuries amass like last year? Will Doug Pederson use Dallas Goedert this season in a traditional tight end role, or might be be lined up in multiple spots throughout games? All of these topics and much more as we talked to John this week! (49:50)
