Week 10 of the 2020 Philadelphia Eagles season is now in the books. The Eagles lost to the New York Giants at Met-Life Stadium by a score of 27-17. Their record is 3-5-1, and are, amazingly enough, still in first place in the NFC East division.
The Eagles offense went 0-9 on third-down, which really was a microcosm of the offense that couldn't generate much momentum at all against this Giants defense. While it was great having Miles Sanders back as he averaged 5.7 YPC, Doug Pederson only rushed him 15 times during this game. The defense played like stale Swiss cheese and Giants quarterback Daniel Jones picked them apart. It was a tough watch overall.
As we do after every Eagles game, we gave our takeaways, dove into the stats and gave out our position and coaching grades.
