Week 5 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2019 season is now in the books! The Eagles beat the New York Jets at The Linc by a score of 31-6, and their record is now 3-2 on the season as they look to contend in the NFC East and conference overall.
This game was a defensive onslaught by the Eagles and Jim Schwartz, dominating in the trenches and coming out with 10 total sacks, 10 tackles for a loss, 16 quarterback hits, and two touchdowns. While the Eagles offense sputtered at times due to sloppy play from the offensive line and receivers, Carson Wentz was able to manage the game well. While this was a dominant-looking score, it didn't reflect what we thought might happen offensively.
As always, we give our takeaways, analysis and grade each position as well as the coaches.
