Week 3 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2022-2023 season is now in the books! The Birds beat the Washington Commanders by a score of 24-8 in their second away game of the season in, yet again, dominant fashion. They're now 3-0 in the NFC East division and are certainly an early contender in the NFC.
Once again, we saw defensive dominance from this team up front as they recorded 9 sacks. It's the most Carson Wentz has been sacked in a game within his NFL career. Great play by the linebackers and secondary was a major reason why this team is still undefeated.
Jalen Hurts is also another reason this team continues to step on their opponents' necks. 340 yards through the air and 3 touchdowns gave us an amazing performance to watch. The question we discussed during one of our themes this week: is this team winning with Jalen Hurts like they were last season, or are they winning because of him?
As always, we gave our themes, takeaways and graded the units and coaches.
