Week 12 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2018 regular season is now in the books! The Eagles beat the New York Giants a second time this season, this week down at The Linc by a score of 25-22. The team is now 5-6 on the season, currently 2-1 in the NFC East division.
Jeff and Erik broke down this game where we saw a rebound from last week's debacle from New Orleans. It was a tale of two halves with Saquon Barkley destroying the Eagles defense in the first half. The game was then dominated by the Eagles defense in the second half. Carson Wentz put up some nice numbers today, but got off to a slow start, as the did the offense, once again. And Jim Schwartz has shown that his prevent-based defense early in games simply does not work. Overall, it was a nice victory for Eagles fans as Jake Elliott made a 43-yard field goal to seal the game with 22-seconds left to play.
As always, we gave our breakdown, analysis and takeaways from the game. Plus we also got into the team stats, box score and graded the positions and coaches.
