Week 13 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2018 regular season is now in the books! The Eagles beat Washington this week down at The Linc by a score of 28-13. The team is now 6-6 on the season, currently 3-1 in the NFC East division. It was a game the Birds desperately needed to win to help keep any playoff chance alive.
Jeff and Len broke down this game where we saw a very nice offensive performance from Carson Wentz and the rushing attack. 306 yards and two touchdowns, and 130 yards on the ground allowed the Eagles to control the time of possession and game overall. The defense, while playing against Colt McCoy and then Mark Sanchez at quarterback, held their own by accumulating three sacks and nine tackles for a loss. LB Nate Gerry got his first interception of his professional career as well. Overall, it was a well played game, albeit against a lesser opponent, but these are the games this Eagles team needs to win.
As always, we gave our breakdown, analysis and takeaways from the game. Plus we also got into the team stats, box score and graded the positions and coaches.
