Week 16 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2018 regular season is now in the books! In their last game at The Linc this season, the Eagles beat the Houston Texans by a score of 32-30. With this win, the Eagles remain in the playoff hunt amazingly enough. This Eagles team is now 8-7 on the season, and we are thoroughly shocked there's still a chance to make the playoffs with a win in Washington next week and a Vikings loss.
Jeff and Erik broke down this game where we saw a pass dominated game. Nick Foles threw 4 touchdowns, 1 interception and broke Donovan McNabb's record for most passing yards by an Eagles quarterback throwing 471 yards on the day. Meanwhile on the defensive side of the ball, the d-line showed much poise and were a thorn in the Texans passing game throughout the day. However, that Eagles 4th quarter defense, giving up too many passing yards and points on the board, manifested itself yet again this week. Jake Elliott, after having missed an extra point earlier in the game, came through with the game winning field goal.
As always, we gave our breakdown, analysis and takeaways from the game. Plus we also got into the team stats, box score and graded the positions and coaches.
