Week 3 of the Eagles 2018 regular season is now in the books! The Birds beat the Indianapolis Colts at The Linc in Philly by a 20-16 score. The team is now 2-1 to start the season, and they have yet to play a division opponent.
It was Carson Wentz's first game back since his injury last season! While there was excitement in the air upon him taking the field, as well as him going 5-7 for 55 yards and throwing a TD to Dallas Goedert on the Eagles opening possession, there there was certainly rust. He turned the ball over twice and seemingly missed wide open receivers down the field. Thankfully, this game was won by the defense and especially the defensive front four. Derek Barnett had one of his best games this season with a key sack in the 4th quarter that allowed the Eagles to come away with the victory.
As always, we gave our breakdown, analysis and takeaways from the game. Plus we also got into the team stats, box score and graded the positions and coaches.
