Week 7 of the Eagles 2018 regular season is now in the books. The Birds lost their second home game in a row this time to the Carolina Panthers by 21-17 score. The team is now 3-4 on the season, are currently 1-0 in the NFC East division, and have a tough week ahead as they travel to London.
There's no reason the Eagles should not have won this game. With Carson Wentz dominating from the pocket and the defense playing shutdown football, this game should have been a win. However, the defense only played shutdown football for three quarters. The fourth quarter was a debacle for Jim Schwartz and his personnel as they gave up 21 points. Further, there were moments in the game where the offense could have generated more, but came up short. This was a tough loss because it should have been a solid win. This Eagles team on offense, defense and special teams (at 36-yard missed FG) have no one to blame but themselves.
As always, we gave our breakdown, analysis and takeaways from the game. Plus we also got into the team stats, box score and graded the positions and coaches.
