The Philadelphia Eagles season is not technically over yet. Yet we continue to ponder, are the Eagles still alive? With a 5-6 record, playing in a weak division that's still wide open, anything could happen, right? This week, we brought Eagles beat reporter Ed Kracz onto the show to dive into this season, the challenges of the team to help us answer if they truly are still alive. It's a great interview!
But first, on the Brief News and Views segment:
1. The Flyers are firing people. (7:15)
2. Voicemail about Markelle Fultz's future. (22:00)
3. Women coaching in the NFL. (33:00)
4. Phillies offseason rumors and possibilities. (40:15)
What we're throwing down on the Table this week is an interview with Ed Kracz who has been coving this Eagles team at the NovaCare Complex and The Linc for 8 years. First, we dove into Carson Wentz and how we've seen changes to his game coming off his ACL injury. Then we dissected the Golden Tate trade and what it has meant for the wide receiver corps and the future of Nelson Agholor. We also talked about the running game and how Josh Adams has gotten more involved moving forward. Will the Eagles defense and Jim Schwartz make any scheme changes in the coming weeks as the fan base has certainly been unimpressed by the overall lack of continuity, especially on third-down? All of these topics and much more this week on the Table. (48:15)
