Description

Richard Junganiko Munthali (PhD) is the Research Statistician and Researcher at Wits Reproductive Health and HIV Unit Institute under University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. After his PhD, Dr Munthali went on and successfully completed a Postdoc Fellowship at University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He graduated with a PhD in Bioinformatics from University of the Witwatersrand (RSA) in 2017. He is dynamic, multi-disciplinary trained individual. Dr Munthali is a seasoned and accomplished biostatistician, bioinformatician and data scientist with extensive experience doing public health research. Dr Munthali is an affiliate in the bioinformatics group at the College of Medicine (CoM). He has been exposed to world-class research institutions through different fellowships such as the University of Cambridge (UK), Emory University (USA) and University of Zurich (Switzerland) among others.
