Description

Well, okay, then. Nicolas Cage was just a 22-year actor when he gave audiences H.I. (“Hi”) McDunnough, a convenience-store robber with a heart of gold in the 1987’s caper, “Raising Arizona”. The Coen Brothers comedy was made for just $5M, but became a big hit, a cult classic, and helped place Holly Hunter (her 4th film) onto the A-List of actresses. Now decades later, is any of this a laughing matter? Bank robbers, fertility issues, and kidnapping proved hilarious in the 80’s, but how about these days? Does the film remain on Brian and Christina’s individual lists of all-time favorite movies? The Old Roommates will be taking some Huggies and whatever cash you got, and give all the antics a rewatch. Listen to this.
