Featuring a top-notch trio of comedic talent - Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Martin Short - the movie should've been a laugh-a-minute masterpiece, and wasn't. But, 35 years later, is Mark Twain right, that "humor is tragedy plus time" or is a dud still a dud? Chase called this movie "the most fun he's ever had," so was it a case of "you had to be there"?
