Carl has been writing and perfecting his very distinctive and unique finger picking style over the past ten years. Its strong rhythmic backbone will have you moving, and his songs will have you singing the very first time you hear them. His writing is strong, personal, and relatable.
You will likely find Carl spreading his songs at area coffee houses, farmers markets, and music festivals as a solo performer or as part of the trio Picket Hill. Carl has a love of the outdoors and does much of his writing while hiking in the Mink Hills alone or with his greyhound, Beau.
Carl recently completed his first solo CD Ordinary Life, whose songs have made it to CBC Radio One in Canada and local New Hampshire airways.

Outside of music, Carl works part time as an engineer designing amusement rides and ski lifts.
