Tanya Mayo (she/her) is the Owner and Chief Operating Officer at Be the Change Consulting. She’s the former Director of Capacity Building at San Francisco’s Department of Children, Youth and their Families. A certified professional coach, she draws from her vast experience in training, non-profit systems, and youth development to develop capacity-building pathways. Tanya has a rich background in multicultural education and art with 10+ years of teaching experience, deep-rooted work with diverse populations, and knowledge in organizational capacity-building. Her skills include strategic planning, program development, staff development, board retention, and fundraising. Tanya raises her brilliant kids in Oakland, CA on Ohlone land.
