A conversation with U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro. Castro, D-San Antonio, was first elected in 2012 to represent Texas’ Congressional District 20. He serves on the House Armed Services and Foreign Affairs committees and in 2013 was elected president of the freshman Democratic class. Previously, Castro served for 10 years in the Texas Legislature.
