Here is our discussion with Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller, which was recorded before a live audience in Austin, Texas, on March 10, 2016.
Miller was elected to his current post in 2014. Previously, he served six terms in the Texas House. During his tenure, Miller chaired the Agriculture and Livestock Committee and the Homeland Security and Public Safety Committee. He authored the abortion sonogram bill in the 82nd legislative session. Miller also served on the Agriculture Policy Board and was appointed to serve on the National Energy Council.
