McCaul, R-Austin, represents Texas’s 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House. He chairs the House Committee on Homeland Security and the U.S.-Mexico Interparliamentary Group. McCaul also serves on the Committee on Foreign Affairs. Previously, he served as chief of counterterrorism and national security in the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Western District of Texas.
