In this rich and intimate morning session at the Awaken to Love retreat Center, Spain, Jenny Maria and Barret De La Luz guide a reflection on A Course in Miracles lesson 112 (Review) “Light and Joy and Peace Abide in Me” and “I Am as God Created Me” and a meditation (which includes 5 minutes of silence)
The session continues with a deep dive into the meaning of “abide” and our true identity, leading us into the practical application of the lessons throughout the day.
A participant from the Awaken to Love community shares about an intense nightmare, symbolising deep-rooted fear and the belief in separation—represented by a child being taken away and a tsunami wave. Jenny Maria gently reflect on these dreams as expressions of the ego’s fear and the mind’s process of healing the separation from God. The tsunami is seen as a final test or purification, echoing the imagery from The Pilgrim’s Progress, pointing to a moment of going through darkness into the light.
The feedback centers on trust, surrender, and allowing Spirit to reinterpret fearful experiences. The theme of “being lifted” and stepping into willingness—even if it's just to be willing to be willing—offers profound encouragement for anyone navigating emotional storms, reminding us that “nothing real can be threatened” and that no effort is asked. The Spirit is always doing the healing and extending through us.
