Welcome to the third episode in our Genesis series. Today, we hop into the story of human's exile from the garden.
2:10 - 22:00 Matthew and Brett start discussing Genesis 3. They both bring up the main theme of the episode, anxiety. Brett explains that the serpent will use anxiety in humans to get what he wants. They also discuss the act of taking throughout the Old Testament and what that theme looks like, starting with Adam and Eve taking the fruit in the garden.
22:20 - End: The knowledge of good and evil was meant for God, but humans wanted to take it for themselves. Now, the world will never be the same. Guilt, blame-shifting, toil, and fomo towards our favorite people, events, and experiences.
