Citizenship In Heaven

Big Idea:
Christian’s citizenship is in heaven.
Distinguishing Characteristics of Citizens of Heaven
#1 Citizens walk with partners.
We can’t grow well without a mentors or guides; it’s called discipleship.
#2 Citizens watch for pretenders.
Pretenders know Christianese but are not conformed to the Kingdom of Heaven laws.
#3 Citizens wait for a place.
Heaven is more than a destination; it is a motivation.
#4 Citizens will get a promotion.
Look around for good examples to follow, look out for imitations to avoid, and look up for Jesus to return.
