Workout Your Salvation

Scripture: Philippians 2:12-18, Psalm 119:105.
I. BIG IDEA: Work out our own salvation motivated by reverential fear of God.
a. WHO? The Holy Spirit is in you, empowering you.
b. HOW? Do all things without complaining or disputing.
i. WHY? Become children of God without fault.
ii. WHY? Shine as a light in a dark world.
c. HOW? Proclaim the word of life.
i. Why? Because this is life’s purpose.
d. HOW? Attitude and joy is a choice.
i. Why? Paul is an example for those who follow.
When we complain:
1-We are denying the good things God has done or is doing.
2-We are feeding our flesh.
3-We discourage other people.
