It seems like despair can come more easily than joy, these days. Turn on the news or scroll through social media and it is amazing anyone could come away without questioning God and wondering if true justice will ever be served. This is nothing new. In fact, this is exactly where the Psalmist found himself when he wrote Psalm 73. Nearly despairing of trust in God as he noticed that the wicked seemed to have it easier than those seeking to obey the Lord and follow Him. It took a massive shift in focus before the Psalmist was able to discern what the truth was.
