Description

Dr. Mike P. Moffatt is the Senior Director of the Prosperity Institute, a regular commentator or housing affordability and productivity/prosperity issues and an Assistant Professor in the Business, Economics, and Public Policy area group at Ivey Business School, Western University.

Mike has conducted policy research on the nexus between regional economic development, innovation, housing, and climate policy in previous positions at the Mowat Centre, Lawrence Centre, Canada 2020, and for the federal government where he was Canada’s first ever Chief Innovation Fellow. Mike talked about the housing affordability crisis in the Greater Toronto and in urban centres across Canada.

Brian Crombie closed the show with his own opinions on four plexes and what needs to be done to address this housing crisis.
