Brian interviews two Ukrainians: Yarina Goryuk and Polina Khantadze.
📌 Yarina Goryuk, a university student from Kharkiv, studying English literature. Kharkiv is her home city and she has stayed there since the first day of the war. She provides a personal view of the destruction and impact of the war.
📌 Polina Khantadze was born in Odessa and moved to Canada at the age of 11, nevertheless she remained strongly tied to her homeland. She obtained a Bachelors and a Graduate degree from McGill University in Montreal. She is a marketing professional and writes poetry in English and Russian as a form of self-expression.
