The Jake’s Take’s AGT Season 16 special podcast series continues! This week, I am welcoming Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer act and fan-favorite: Nightbirde.
Nightbirde is the moniker of 30-year-old Zanesville, Ohio, native Jane Marczewski. She became an instant household name after auditioning for America’s Got Talent: Season 16 (AGT).
During her audition, Jane shared with the on-air team (Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and host Terry Crews) that she battled cancer off-and-on again over the past few years. As reported by The Huffington Post, Nightbirde noted that she had a “2% chance of survival.”
Since that magical moment, the audition has received over 28 million views on the official AGT YouTube channel. Also, her original song, “It’s Ok,” peaked at number three on Billboard’s U.S. Digital Charts in June and peaked at the top spot on both the Australian and Canadian digital music charts.
