Description

The State Department ordered non-emergency U.S. employees at the Embassy in Kyiv to depart due to continued reports of a Russian military build-up on the border with Ukraine. Multiple State Department sources say that the US Embassy will operate a fallback location in Lviv, closer to the Polish border. The minimal staff there will maintain consular services out of a temporary facility that has been setup over the past week. This as both President Putin and President Biden will speak today.
