Luke and Corrye probably shouldn't have brought up one particular mini-monologue by Alec Baldwin before pressing record. The Departed feels like an NBA all-star game...except everyone is trying really hard, and the game is actually GOOD. Corrye waxes philosophical on the theme of identity, while Luke rattles off some of the more quotable lines that should be pop culture royalty by now. PLUS: research revelations that include the film's Hong Kong influence, the Xs used by Scorsese, and the criminally underrated Vera Farmiga.
