In this sermon, we explore Adam's task to "dress and keep the Garden". These two words have significant meaning throughout scripture. It means that Adam was to work and to protect. This was the paradise that God placed Adam in. Far from our contemporary idea of paradise, no work and no struggles, Adam's paradise in the Garden included both these concepts. If we are to fulfill our task in our own gardens, we are to work and protect.
