Juiced Balls- A few weeks ago Artie made a comment on the “juiciness” of the baseballs in the league. I got a text from Gil that there was no way the balls we juiced. I invited him on the show today to talk about that, the process of how the baseball cores are made and how they affect the ball.
This is the week that the baseball- world would have focused on the Astros. With the Angels Home opener being today the usual sell out would have been invaded by the Dodgers fans still upset over the 2017 cheating scandal. Would have proven to be some of the most exciting environments to watch baseball. Joe Madden had already said that he had instructed his pitchers to NOT intentionally throw at the Astros, but I would be remiss to not have seen 1 or 2 guys up in the bullpen through the middle of the game.
The red sox were on the verge of getting its punishment from the league when the entire MLB along with the other major league sports came to an abrupt halt. With Chris Sale being lost to Tommy John surgery, Mookie Betts being traded to the Dodgers, and the loss of TB 12…. Boston was set to have a really shitty year whenever sports do come back.
Dodgers- Justin Turner has proposed a Home Run Derby to end Extra-Innings after the 10th inning. What are your takes on ending a tie game after the 10th inning with a home run derby? Would let people get to bed sooner than watching a game go on for 15 innings. Only about 10% of games throughout the league go into Extra Innings.

NCAA- Senior Eligibility for Spring Sport Athletes
The Ivy League - has decided to NOT allow its spring Athletes the extra year of eligibility for its graduating Seniors even though the NCAA came out last week granted that option for its spring sports athletes. Unfortunately that means the Winter Sports Athletes like Coby Downs and the Norwich Mens Hockey team will not be eligible to have its seniors back next season.
What is your take on the Ivy League not allowing its seniors to return for eligibility? 70+ Ivy League Seniors spring sport athletes entered the transfer portal so that they may be eligible to play elsewhere next year.

Rex Ryan calls Amari Cooper a Turd during an interview. Says he would not have paid him what he got from the cowboys. Later retracted his statement saying that it was a poor choice of words on his part. Still feels the same, but looking back would have used different terminology when discussing the WR
The draft is starting Thursday April 23d. It will be very interesting to see how they do this with how large of a party the draft has become over the years. The NFL Draft is the ONLY “sporting event” left on the books. Do you think the league will get any blow back from people? I don't think anyone really needs to see players shake roger goodell's hand and holding a jersey on stage. It will be interesting to see what happens after the draft. Will this hurt or help sports?
